Job summary

Scott Enterprise Hotels, Ambassador, and Corporate Divisions is seeking a reliable Banquet Set-Up Attendant to prepare banquet and meeting spaces per BEOs. You will arrange tables, chairs, linens, staging, and equipment to ensure flawless event execution.

Responsibilities include setup/breakdown, light A/V tasks, and maintaining organization of storage areas. Flexibility for nights, weekends, and holidays is required; gratuity potential from hosted events enhances earnings.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in banquet or event set-up preferred but not required.
• Ability to lift and move heavy furniture and equipment (up to 50 lbs)
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately
• Flexible schedule, including availability for nights, weekends, and holidays
• Basic A/V knowledge is a plus
• Reliable, punctual, and proactive with a strong sense of responsibility

• Ensure setups are completed safely, accurately, and on time
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of banquet storage areas
• Perform light cleaning, organizing, and maintenance of event spaces during downtime
• Assist with minimal A/V setup (e.g., placing microphones, connecting projectors) – experience is a plus
• Coordinate and communicate effectively with banquet staff and other departments
• Uphold a positive and professional attitude while working in a team environment

We are looking for a reliable and hardworking Banquet Set-Up Attendant to join our team. This is an hourly position with the opportunity to earn gratuity from events. The ideal candidate is a team player with a strong work ethic and a positive attitude.

As a Banquet Set-Up Attendant, your primary responsibility is to prepare banquet and meeting spaces according to detailed Banquet Event Orders (BEOs). This includes arranging tables, chairs, linens, staging, and equipment to ensure each event is flawlessly executed. When event set-up is not required, this role will also assist with light cleaning, organization, and maintaining the overall readiness of event spaces.
