Job summary

The Amatriot Group seeks a senior AWS Connect developer to design and implement enterprise call routing and IVR solutions for Woodlawn, MD. You will translate business needs into scalable AWS Connect workflows and ServiceNow integrations.

Requirements include 7 years in AWS and Amazon Connect, 3 years in Node.js/Python/Java, strong documentation skills, and the ability to obtain a public trust clearance. On-site, five days a week in Woodlawn.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related field. [Required]

• 7 years of hands‑on experience working with the AWS Cloud platform. [Required]
• 3 years of hands‑on experience working with Amazon Connect. [Required]

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. [Required]
• Solid AWS Cloud and AWS Connect development experience. [Required]
• Extensive experience and knowledge with IVR, Automatic Call Distribution (ACD), Skill-Based Routing, and Live Chat. [Required]
• Experience creating process flow documentation. [Required]
• Experience with Lambda, Lex Conversational, Bots/NLP, Kinesis Streams, Glue, VPC, SMS (Simple Notification Service), AppSync, EventBridge, Kinesis Firehose, DynamoDB Streams, Service Catalog, and Kinesis Data Analytics. [Required]
• Strong verbal and written communication skills. [Required]
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a public trust clearance. [Required]
• Must be willing to work on-site in Woodlawn, MD, 5 days a week. [Required]
• Master's degree and 10+ years of experience, Bachelor's degree and 12+ years of experience, or 18+ years of experience in lieu of a degree. [Required]

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement AWS Connect processes, including new or modified applications, forms, workflows, policies, actions, access controls, interfaces, and other configurations required to support client processes.
• Support and enhance existing processes based on new requirements or upgrades.
• Provide recommendations for enhancing existing operations and for new updates or modifications.
• Facilitate requirements gathering, review, and documentation.
• Design and develop solutions within the ServiceNow environment.
• Perform all other duties as assigned or directed.

Position Overview

The successful candidate will have fluency in AWS Connect design and development principles and work with stakeholders to develop enterprise business solutions that leverage industry processes and best practices.

Key Responsibilities

AWS Connect Development

• Design, develop, and implement AWS Connect processes, including new or modified applications, forms, workflows, policies, actions, access controls, interfaces, and other configurations required to support client processes.
