Target Salary Range*:$130,000 - $180,000

*This represents the potential salary range for this position depending on education level, years of experience and/or certifications in addition to other position specific requirements which may impact salary

Position Overview

The successful candidate will have fluency in AWS Connect design and development principles and work with stakeholders to develop enterprise business solutions that leverage industry processes and best practices.

Key Responsibilities

AWS Connect Development

Design, develop, and implement AWS Connect processes, including new or modified applications, forms, workflows, policies, actions, access controls, interfaces, and other configurations required to support client processes.

Support and enhance existing processes based on new requirements or upgrades.

Provide recommendations for enhancing existing operations and for new updates or modifications.

Requirements and Solution Development

Facilitate requirements gathering, review, and documentation.

Design and develop solutions within the ServiceNow environment.

Perform all other duties as assigned or directed.

Qualifications

Education

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related field. [Required]

Experience

7 years of experience working with large enterprise frameworks. [Required]

7 years of hands‑on experience working with the AWS Cloud platform. [Required]

3 years of hands‑on experience working with Amazon Connect. [Required]

3 years of experience using Node.js, Python, or Java for development. [Required]

3 years of experience designing call routing and messaging. [Required]

Skills

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. [Required]

Solid AWS Cloud and AWS Connect development experience. [Required]

Extensive experience and knowledge with IVR, Automatic Call Distribution (ACD), Skill‑Based Routing, and Live Chat. [Required]

Experience creating process flow documentation. [Required]

Experience with Lambda, Lex Conversational, Bots/NLP, Kinesis Streams, Glue, VPC, SMS (Simple Notification Service), AppSync, EventBridge, Kinesis Firehose, DynamoDB Streams, Service Catalog, and Kinesis Data Analytics. [Required]

Strong verbal and written communication skills. [Required]

Clearance

Must be able to obtain and maintain a public trust clearance. [Required]

Other Requirements

Must be willing to work on‑site in Woodlawn, MD, 5 days a week. [Required]

Master's degree and 10+ years of experience, Bachelor's degree and 12+ years of experience, or 18+ years of experience in lieu of a degree. [Required]
