Job description

About Stonecutter

Stonecutter is a boutique Amazon growth agency based in New York City. We work with established brands across beauty, wellness, supplements, pet, and consumer goods, helping them build, manage, and grow their businesses on Amazon.

Today, our team of Amazon specialists manages over $250 million in annual Amazon revenue.

We've built our business entirely through referrals, and we're proud of that. We take a different approach from traditional agencies. We don't believe in taking on as many clients as possible or handing over a strategy and leaving brands to figure out the rest. We're hands-on, involved in the day-to-day, and genuinely invested in the success of the brands we work with.

We're also a fully remote team that believes great work and a healthy work-life balance can go hand in hand. We have high expectations, but we trust our people, value their ideas, and understand that life outside of work matters, too.

We run our business on EOS, with clear quarterly goals, weekly scorecards, and regular L10 meetings, both internally and with many of our clients. We've also built our own data platform, Polaris, and use AI tools across the team to take manual work off our plates so we can spend more time on strategy.

Our Core Values

Our values guide how we work with our clients and each other.

  • Always Adding Value: We're always looking for ways to make things better.
  • Open and Honest: We communicate openly, give honest feedback, and hold ourselves accountable.
  • We Care About Our Partners: We treat our clients' businesses like our own and genuinely care about their success.
  • Every Second Counts: We respect people's time, work with purpose, and follow through on our commitments.
  • Quality Over Quantity: We focus on doing great work, not just getting things done.
  • Growth Through Innovation: We encourage new ideas, challenge existing processes, and look for better ways to work.
About the Role

We're hiring Amazon Account Managers at both the mid and senior level. We're looking for people who know the Amazon marketplace, enjoy working directly with clients, and know how to turn strategy into results. Level and compensation will be based on experience.

You’ll manage a portfolio of brands, lead client relationships, and work alongside our Advertising, Catalog, Creative, and Operations teams to grow each account.

Our account management is strategy-led. We’re building toward a model where roughly 75% of the role is strategy (planning, testing, forecasting, and recommending what's next) and 25% is execution. Our specialist teams handle much of the hands‑on work, so your time goes toward moving each account forward.

Our Account Managers play an important role in the business. You’re the person connecting all the pieces, making sure everyone is working toward the same goals, and helping clients understand both what's happening in their business and what we should be doing next.

We’re looking for someone who can think strategically but isn’t afraid to get into the details when needed.

What You’ll Be Doing
  • Manage a portfolio of Amazon accounts, owning client relationships, strategy, and performance.
  • Build growth strategies based on each brand’s goals, challenges, and opportunities.
  • Lead client calls, present performance updates (including advertising results), and provide clear recommendations.
  • Understand and help shape each brand’s advertising strategy in partnership with our PPC team, including TACoS goals, branded vs. non‑branded spend, and Search Query Performance (SQP) insights.
  • Monitor account performance, including revenue, profitability, advertising, inventory, pricing, and account health.
  • Forecast sales and track performance against goals, especially heading into peak seasons.
  • Plan and manage deals, promotions, and major sales events such as Prime Day, Prime Big Deal Days, and Black Friday/Cyber Monday, along with product launches.
  • Coordinate with our Catalog, Creative, and Operations teams to keep projects moving and priorities aligned.
  • Identify potential issues early and work with the appropriate teams to resolve them.
  • Use our data platform and AI tools to work efficiently and surface insights for clients.
  • Stay current on Amazon updates and industry changes.
  • Help us improve. We want people who bring ideas to the table and aren’t afraid to suggest a better way of doing something.
What We’re Looking For
Required
  • 3+ years of experience managing Amazon Seller Central accounts (or equivalent hands‑on experience). Senior‑level candidates will typically bring 5+ years.
  • Hands‑on experience with Amazon Advertising (Sponsored Products, Sponsored Brands, and Sponsored Display) and comfort discussing ad performance with clients.
  • Strong understanding of Amazon, including listing optimization, promotions, account health, and marketplace operations.
  • Experience managing multiple brands or accounts simultaneously.
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to use data to make informed decisions.
  • Excellent communication skills and confidence leading client meetings.
  • Someone who can manage competing priorities without losing sight of the bigger picture.
  • Someone who takes ownership, follows through, and can work independently.
  • A team player who is comfortable collaborating with specialists across different departments.
Nice to Have
  • Agency or client‑facing account management experience.
  • Experience with brands in beauty, wellness, supplements, pet, or consumer goods.
  • Familiarity with Search Query Performance (SQP), Amazon Marketing Cloud (AMC), or Amazon DSP.
  • Experience forecasting sales and planning for peak events.
  • Experience using AI tools in your day‑to‑day work.
  • Experience working within EOS or a similar operating system.

Don’t check every box? If you have strong Amazon experience and the qualities above, we’d still love to hear from you.

What We Offer
  • Fully remote work environment
  • Medical and dental insurance
  • 401(k) with employer contributions
  • Paid time off and paid holidays
  • Opportunities for professional development and career growth
  • The chance to work with established and growing consumer brands
  • A collaborative team where your input matters
  • A company that genuinely values work‑life balance
Work Schedule

Monday through Friday, 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM ET

Compensation: $80,000 - $100,000

Interested?

We’re looking for people who are good at what they do, care about the quality of their work, and enjoy being part of a team.

If you have experience managing Amazon accounts and are looking for a place where you can do meaningful work, continue growing, and be part of a great team, we'd love to hear from you.
