Job summary

Bonita Bay Club is seeking an AM Staff Dining Cook to help deliver consistent, high-quality meals for members across dining venues and events. You will contribute to daily production of soups, stocks, and staff meals, while managing from-scratch soups and ensuring safety and cost control.

This full-time role requires at least 5 years of culinary experience, ServSafe Manager Certification, and the ability to work a flexible schedule during In Season, Shoulder, and Off Season.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of culinary experience.
• Ability to create, evaluate, and execute standardized recipes with 100% accuracy.
• Self-motivated and able to work independently.
• ServSafe Manager Certification must be maintained.
• Excellent interpersonal skills with a positive, professional demeanor.
• ACF Certification is preferred but not required; aspiring for certification.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Must be able to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.

Responsibilities

• Produce soups, stocks, and staff meals daily.
• Manage from-scratch soups for multiple meal periods, dining venues, and events.
• Manage and rotate product inventory, and research new recipes to enhance cuisine.
• Evaluate processes to ensure efficiency, cost control, and safety standards.

A DAY IN THE LIFE OF THE AM STAFF DINING COOK:

As an AM Staff Dining Cook, you ensure we meet our mission to provide our members with consistent, well-prepared, and diverse cuisine. You will be responsible for the daily production of soups, stocks, and staff meals, as well as the management of from-scratch soups for multiple meal periods, dining venues, and events. You will produce and manage all stock production and evaluate finished products to determine product quality. You will manage and rotate product inventory, as well as research new recipes to enhance the culinary experience of Bonita Bay Club members. You will regularly evaluate processes and procedures to ensure efficiency, cost control, and safety standards are being met.

JOB SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:

• Requires a minimum of 5 years of culinary experience.

• Serve Safe Manager Certification must always be maintained.

• ACF Certification is preferred but not required; should be aspiring for certification.
• Must be proficient in Microsoft computer programs, with the ability to use Word, Excel, and Outlook.

ESTIMATED SCHEDULE:

• In Season (January-April) available 5-6 days/week as business demands
• Shoulder Season (October-November & May) 5+ days/week as business demands
• Off Season (June-September) 35+ hours/week as business demands
