Job summary

Thistle Health Inc. is seeking an Associate, Cook to execute daily production within a high-volume kitchen. You will support meal prep, batch cooking, and assembly while following recipes with strict adherence to safety and quality standards.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years in large-scale kitchens, knowledge of HACCP, and the ability to read and follow recipes. The role requires strong communication and independence in a busy production environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of 2+ years in a large-scale, high-volume kitchen environment.
• Experience with batch cooking in a professional food production environment.
• Knowledge of HACCP principles and food safety; ServSafe certification preferred.
• Ability to read, follow, and execute recipes with strict adherence to specifications.

Responsibilities

• Execute daily food preparation and production activities in alignment with recipes and schedules.
• Assist in maintaining high standards of quality, food safety, and operational efficiency.
• Operate and maintain commercial kitchen equipment (ovens, tilts, blixers, etc.).
• Identify equipment issues and escalate to leadership for safe production.
• Maintain GMPs, sanitation, labeling, and temperature/log records.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to sustain production standards.
