Job summary

Napa Valley Care Center is seeking compassionate Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) to join the AM shift in Napa, CA. Pay ranges from $21.00 to $22.00 per hour depending on experience, with both full-time and part-time positions available.

Qualifications

• Current California CNA certification is required.
• Current BLS/CPR certification preferred.
• Experience in Skilled Nursing, Rehabilitation, Post-Acute Care, Memory Care, or Long-Term Care preferred.
• Compassionate, resident-focused approach to care.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Reliable, professional, and dependable work ethic.
• Newly certified CNAs are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with ADLs including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, eating, and mobility.
• Provide compassionate, resident-centered care while promoting dignity, comfort, and independence.
• Monitor residents and promptly report changes in condition to licensed nursing staff.
• Take and document vital signs as assigned.
• Assist with meal service, hydration, and nutritional support.
• Maintain accurate documentation in accordance with facility policies and regulatory requirements.
• Help provide a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for residents.
• Answer resident call lights promptly and respectfully.
• Work collaboratively with nurses, therapists, physicians, and interdisciplinary care team members.
• Support residents' physical, emotional, and social well-being.
