Job summary

InterContinental Los Angeles Downtown is seeking a Restaurant Server to deliver fast, courteous service to hotel guests. You will recommend food and beverages and help keep service on-track while tailoring each guest's experience to their tastes.

Provide high-quality presentation and ensure standards are met, with duties including greeting guests, taking orders, and assisting with opening/closing tasks. Must understand health and safety requirements and enjoy working in a lively, luxury setting.

Qualifications

• Basic reading and writing.
• Food service experience with general knowledge of restaurant operations.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests and take beverage and food orders promptly and professionally.
• Prepare food and beverages for service and present food according to health and presentation standards.
• Clear and clean tables promptly and maintain station cleanliness throughout shift.
• Perform opening/closing duties and ensure wait staff stations are maintained.
• Monitor safety and service quality, and assist with guest payments as needed.
