Job summary

Universal Logistics in Southern California is hiring local Class A port drivers. We require 6 months manual tractor-trailer experience and 21+ years old, with rail experience and chassis/container familiarity. Routes include Long Beach, Moreno Valley, LA, and So-Cal locations.

Drivers are paid weekly with a flat-rate per move and averages 1500–2100 per week. Benefits include 401(k), medical, dental, vision, sick pay and paid holidays. You will go home daily and operate within safety regs.

Qualifications

• Must have 6 months manual tractor trailer work experience.
• Must be 21 years old or older.
• Must have chassis and container experience.
• Hazardous materials (hazmat) is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Operate local Class A port routes in So-Cal area.
• Adhere to safety regulations and company policies.

UISI is seeking local Class A Experienced Port Drivers

We are looking for CDL drivers with 6 months manual tractor trailer work experience.

Shifts Available

• AM- shift
• Monday - Fridays
• 6am-8am start time
• Averaging 10+ hours daily
• The ideal candidate must be able to go to Long beach, Moreno valley, LA, So-Cal Locations

Pay

• Drivers are averaging 1500-2100 a week
• Flat rate structure based on a zip code to zip code format. A driver is paid for each move they perform.

Requirements to apply:

• Must have 6 months rail experience
• Must be 21 years or old
• Minimum 6 months manual tractor trailer work experience
• Must have Chassis and container experience
• No major accidents / tickets in the last 3 years
• No return to work program
• No DUI in last 5 years
• hazmat is a plus
