Job summary

Rocky Mountain Assisted Living is seeking a dedicated QMAP/Caregiver to provide compassionate care to residents in our Colorado facilities. The role involves 12-hour shifts, assisting with activities of daily living, medication administration, and adherence to care plans under supervision of RMAL leadership.

The ideal candidate has a current QMAP, First Aid/CPR, and at least 1 year of elder care experience, with the ability to lift up to 30 pounds and work with residents with varying needs.

Qualifications

• Requires compassionate care attitude toward elderly residents.
• Ability to understand and follow written and verbal directions in English.
• Must be at least 18 years old and have a high school diploma or GED.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living in accordance with care plans.
• Adhere to RMAL policies and promote Resident Rights.
• Administer routine medications per state regulations and RMAL policies.
• Communicate changes in resident condition to the house manager and care team.
• Follow the activities calendar and ensure at least one activity per shift.
• Perform housekeeping duties to keep the home clean and safe.
