Job summary

Candidate Experience Site - Lateral seeks a Public Legal Associate/Analyst within its Asset & Wealth Management Division. The role supports AWM Public businesses, funds and transactions, working directly with attorneys.

Ideal candidates bring strong analytical and communication skills, with adaptability and detail-orientation. Experience with legal entity formation is a plus, and prior paralegal experience is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• All aspects of legal entity creation, maintenance and dissolution including drafting/reviewing formation/governing documents and resolutions
• Fielding internal and external inquiries regarding AWM Public fund information
• Assisting with anti-money laundering/KYC requests
• Responding to regulatory-related requests and reviewing certain documents for compliance with regulatory requirements
• Performing various other governance related tasks, as needed

Asset & Wealth Management Division (AWM) Public Legal Associate/Analyst position presents an opportunity for talented and motivated candidates with an interest in private equity, hedge funds, investment management, finance and law. The role involves working directly with the attorneys in AWM Public Legal supporting the AWM Public businesses, funds and transactions.
