Circa 1886 is currently seeking a full-time Breakfast Line Cook/Prep Cook. We are a fine dining restaurant, and experience in this environment or upscale catering is important. Knowledge of Hors d'Oeuvres, Sauce Making, and Plated Breakfasts is required. The ideal candidate should stay calm under pressure, accept constructive criticism, love cooking, and take pride in their ingredients and station.

Responsibilities

• Work two shifts per week from 6am-2pm as a breakfast cook and three shifts as a prep cook.
• Willingness to work weekends.
• Demonstrate good knife skills.
• Execute breakfast dishes to standards set by the Executive Chef.
• Maintain attention to detail.
• Culinary degree preferred.
• Compensation depends on experience.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand and work continuously in confined spaces for long periods.
• Ability to lift, bend, stoop, walk, push, and pull heavy equipment (50 lbs or more).
• Perform duties in extreme temperature ranges.
• Sufficient dexterity to operate all kitchen equipment.
