Job summary

City of Peoria is seeking an AM/PM Site Lead for its before and after school program for 2026/2027. The role involves supervising youth ages 5-14 across Peoria Unified School District campuses, with flexible morning and afternoon shifts available.

The ideal candidate leads with energy, delivers engaging literacy, arts, crafts, and STEAM activities, and ensures a safe, enriching experience for participants. CPR/First Aid, Fingerprint Clearance, and TB test are required.

Qualifications

• Must have a positive attitude and experience as a proactive leader.
• Proven ability to deliver excellent customer service to youth and families.
• Must be able to qualify as a site director under DHS regulations.
• CPR/First Aid certification, Fingerprint Clearance Card, and TB test (or attestation) are required.

Responsibilities

• Supervise AM/PM participants and monitor safety and engagement.
• Lead activities and staff-led enrichment (literacy, arts & crafts, STEAM).
• Collaborate with peers to support a growing after-school program.
• Provide warm, proactive service and uphold program standards.

This is an excellent opportunity for a childcare provider to collaborate with a team of staff to supports and develop a growing program.
