Job summary

Shaner Hotels in Sarasota, FL is seeking a friendly Room Service Attendant to deliver food and beverages to guest rooms and support the Room Service team.

Ideal candidates will have 1+ year of guest-facing experience, be able to communicate clearly with guests and staff, and be comfortable working flexible shifts including weekends and holidays. Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.

Qualifications

• Minimum one year of guest-facing experience.
• State minimum age to serve alcohol.
• Strong communication with guests, management, and co-workers.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• ServSafe and/or food safety training.
• Alcohol awareness training (TIPS).
• Bilingual English/Spanish a plus.
• Knowledge of local activities and attractions for guests.

• Be available to work a flexible schedule, including weekends, holidays, and varied shifts.
• Ensures compliance with and completion of all daily operational procedures by the Food and Beverage Department.
• Maintains food and beverage safety and quality based on hotel, Shaner, and Franchise specifications.
• Ensures communication with General Manager, all other Department Managers, Supervisors and Staff.
• Other duties as assigned.
