Requirements

1. 16+ years of age
2. Enjoy working with children and able to facilitate age-appropriate games
3. Friendly, enthusiastic, patient, and honest character
4. First Aid, AED & Adult/Child/Infant CPR Certified – or willing to obtain certifications within 60 days of employment
5. Physically fit – able to lift up to 30 lbs., run, sit, kneel, and stand for the duration of a shift
6. Mentally alert – able to recognize safety concerns and have a basic understanding of youth development and children’s needs

Basic Job Duties

1. Maintain a safe, clean, and engaging environment for children
2. Become familiar with Genesis Employee and Kids Club Policies
3. Professionally communicate with parents/guardians regarding their children
4. Attend monthly training and team building meetings
5. Provide friendly customer service to our members
6. Report facility concerns to the supervisor promptly
7. Record daily Kids Club usage
8. Respectful and courteous interaction with our members and Genesis employees
9. Keep Genesis Kids Club center clean and picked up at all times and equipment sanitized
10. Facilitate age-appropriate games and activities to engage with children in our care at all times
