Job summary

Black Desert Resort in Utah seeks a skilled AM Housekeeping Supervisor to oversee the morning shift, ensuring every room and public area meets luxury standards. You will supervise, inspect, and train staff, coordinate schedules, and partner with the Housekeeping Manager to maintain high quality and efficient operations.

The role requires at least 3 years in housekeeping with 1 year in supervision, excellent leadership and communication, and proficiency with housekeeping software.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in housekeeping in a hospitality setting, with at least 1 year in a supervisory position.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness and presentation.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure and handle multiple tasks.
• Proficiency with housekeeping management software and tools.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate the morning housekeeping staff, ensuring tasks are completed efficiently and to high standards.
• Inspect guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces for cleanliness and order.
• Address and resolve guest issues or complaints promptly and professionally.
• Provide training and guidance to housekeeping staff to foster a positive work environment.
• Assist with scheduling and shift assignments for the AM housekeeping team.
• Ensure cleaning equipment and supplies are used and stored properly.
• Monitor inventory of cleaning supplies and amenities; place orders as needed.
• Report maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate department.
• Follow health and safety regulations and company policies.
• Assist with setup/breakdown of events and meetings as needed.
• Participate in meetings and training to stay updated on cleaning techniques.

Job Summary:

The AM Housekeeping Supervisor at Black Desert Resort is responsible for overseeing the operations of the housekeeping department, ensuring that all guest rooms and public areas meet the resort’s high standards of cleanliness and presentation. This position reports to the Housekeeping Manager and plays a key role in maintaining the quality and efficiency of the housekeeping staff.

Job Specification:

Location: Onsite at Black Desert ResortShift & Schedule: Year-Round / Full Time

Pay Range: $21.00 - $24.50 / hour. This is the pay range we reasonably expect to pay for this position. Individual compensation decisions are based on a variety of factors.

• Assist with the setup and breakdown of events and functions as needed.
• Participate in housekeeping meetings and training sessions to stay updated on cleaning techniques and standards.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Housekeeping Manager or Director of Housekeeping.
