Schulte Hospitality Group is seeking a dynamic, service-oriented Food Expeditor Runner AM to join our team at Hotel Ballast Wilmington. This role supports daily restaurant operations by delivering and presenting food, assisting servers, and ensuring guest satisfaction in a fast-paced hotel environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum of high school education.
• At least 1 year in hotel/restaurant service.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Deliver food orders to guests.
• Present food properly before serving to guests.
• Assist with bussing tables.
• Know the art and decor of the hotel and discuss it with guests.
• Recommend local spots as a spokesperson for the community.
• Complete side work duties.
• Assist wait staff as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned to meet business objectives.

JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Deliver food orders for guests based on restaurant needs
• Ensure all food is properly presented prior to running it out to a guest and ensures guests have all they need
• Assists with bussing tables
• Ensure you are acquainted with the art and decor in the hotel and be able to speak on them.
• Be a spokesperson for the Community and be able to know local spots to recommend.
• Complete side work duties
• Assist wait staff as needed
• Perform various other duties as assigned to meet business objectives

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

• Minimum of High School education
• Minimum of one (1) year in hotel/restaurant service role

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
