Job summary

The Gardens at Springfield is seeking an AM Dietary Server (Host/Hostess) to oversee meal service for residents, families and guests in a compassionate, professional manner.

You will coordinate table assignments, supervise dining room prep, and ensure timely service while maintaining resident privacy and a positive atmosphere. Experience in food service and a high school diploma are preferred, with opportunities for growth in dining leadership.

Qualifications

• Interpersonal and communication skills to interact with residents and staff.
• Compassion and genuine care for residents.
• Knowledge of SDS sheets and hazardous materials guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Oversee meal service for residents, families and guests per shift.
• Assign sections and table coverage to health service staff.
• Ensure dining room and tables are clean and set in restaurant style.
• Take and relay meal orders with excellent customer service.
• Maintain confidentiality and professional appearance at all times.
• Coordinate with Culinary Services Director and Health Services Director as needed.
