Job summary

Resort Lifestyle Communities in Round Rock, TX is seeking an AM Cook to start mornings with fresh, scratch-based meals. You’ll safely prepare a variety of foods in a fast-paced kitchen, ensuring plate quality, appealing presentation, and portion control for residents and guests.

Qualifications

Must be at least 18 years old.
Ability to work Monday–Friday 6:00am–2:30pm; PM shift as needed.
Experience in kitchen preparation and cooking preferred.
Ability to secure food handler permits within two weeks of start.

Responsibilities

Prepare and present high-quality dishes by cooking proteins and vegetables, ensuring appealing presentation.
Engage in continuous improvement by contributing ideas during meetings and staying attentive during service.
Complete all opening/closing tasks and support teammates to keep a clean, safe kitchen.
Keep stations stocked and organized; monitor refrigeration and freshness.
Ensure a sanitary kitchen by cleaning work areas and checking temperatures.
