Job summary

Pinnacle Clinical Research- A Summit Solution in San Antonio, TX, seeks a Clinical Rater in Alzheimer's trials to administer and score standardized psychometric and cognitive outcomes. The role includes recruitment and public speaking, with geriatric clinical experience preferred.

You will work with affiliates, ensure data accuracy, adhere to GCP/IRB, and collaborate with investigators and trial staff. A Master’s or PhD in social work, psychology or related field is required.

Qualifications

• Experience administering cognitive assessments.
• Geriatric population experience required or preferred.
• Ability to work with a multidisciplinary team and independently.

Responsibilities

• Works with affiliated or collaborating research sites
• Oversee and carry out the Free Memory Screen Clinic at assigned site
• Administer semi-structured interviews, cognitive tests and rating scales
• Maintain scales, address queries, complete training
• Serve as a rater on AD and neurodegenerative trials
• Manage recruitment database and conduct outreach
• Lead educational public speaking events
• Conduct special projects
• Ensure assessments are consistent and accurate
• Record data in the study database
• Maintain confidentiality and secure data handling
• Review data for completeness and resolve discrepancies
• Adhere to GCP and IRB requirements
• Participate in QA activities for data integrity
• Attend regular training sessions
• Collaborate with PI, coordinators, and team
• Provide feedback on assessment issues
• Stay updated on neuropsychological assessment advances
• Pursue professional development opportunities
