Job summary

Atrium Health Wake Forest Baptist is seeking a Clinical Research Coordinator to support Alzheimer’s disease genetics studies through community outreach, participant recruitment, enrollment, and follow-up. You will work with the PI and team to recruit participants, obtain consent, collect blood samples, and administer cognitive assessments across community and residential settings.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in public health, Basic Science, or a relevant clinical discipline; master’s degree preferred.
• Experience in a medical and/or research setting.
• Phlebotomy license preferred.
• Registered Records Administrator preferred.
• Valid NC Driver's License.
• SOCRA or ACRP Certification preferred.
• Must complete the CITI certification for Human Subject Research if not already completed.
• WakeOne training for research coordinators.

Responsibilities

• Assists in administration and coordination of all phases of the assigned project as directed.
• Ensures that all aspects of the study are conducted following the study protocol.
• Represents the project as the study liaison and representative.
• May guide other study personnel by providing training and supervision.
• Coordinates recruitment, data collection, and follow-up activities.
• Collect blood samples and administer cognitive assessments.
• Travel to collaborating institutions and to homes of participants locally, state, and nationally.
• Develops and revises study materials, forms, manuals, and brochures as requested.
• Provides reports as requested and coordinates data analysis; oversees data quality assurance.
