Job summary

Atrium Health is seeking a Clinical Research Coordinator to support Alzheimer's disease studies through community outreach, recruitment, enrollment, and follow-up. You will work closely with the Principal Investigator, Program Manager, and research staff to recruit participants for AD genetics research.

Responsibilities include participant visits, informed consent, blood collection, cognitive assessments, and collecting family history.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with two years' clinical research experience or equivalent.
• SOCRA or ACRP certification preferred; CITI certification required.
• WakeOne training for research coordinators is required.

Responsibilities

• Assists in the administration and coordination of all phases of the assigned project.
• Ensures that all study aspects follow the protocol and regulatory requirements.
• Represents the project as liaison and provides training/direction to staff as needed.
• Coordinates recruitment data collection and follow-up activities.
• Collects blood samples and conducts cognitive assessments.
• Travel to collaborating institutions and participant homes locally, state, or nationally.
• Develops and revises study materials, forms, and manuals as requested.
• Supports data processing, data analysis, and quality assurance of data.
• Orders and maintains adequate project supplies.
