Job summary

KIPP St. Louis seeks an Alumni Success Adviser to lead the post-secondary strategy for high school alumni. You will provide direct advising and ongoing support to guide alumni into college, CTE programs, military service, or workforce pathways.

You will collaborate with the KIPP Forward team, students, families, higher education partners, and community organizations to secure resources, monitor progress, and ensure successful persistence and outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required and at least three years of experience working with students or young adults.
• Strong relationship-building, communication, organization, and follow-through skills.
• Ability to use data to identify needs, monitor progress, and inform student support.
• Willingness to participate in occasional evening, weekend, or off-site programming.
• Experience coordinating with postsecondary institutions and community partners.

Responsibilities

• Advise and coach alumni across college, CTE, military, and workforce pathways with individualized support.
• Monitor academic progress, enrollment, financial aid, and other persistence indicators.
• Support seniors and recent graduates through matriculation and transition requirements.
• Maintain alumni records, outreach notes, interventions, and outcome data.
• Connect alumni to scholarships, campus resources, internships, and employment opportunities.
• Collaborate with KIPP Forward staff and partners to expand support for alumni.
