Job summary

Claremont Graduate University (CGU) is seeking a Gift Officer to cultivate and advance relationships with CGU donors, primarily alumni, to support the Transformation Fund during the university’s transformation. You will travel to meet alumni at corporate offices, campuses, and community settings, presenting CGU’s vision and opportunities for giving.

You’ll work in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment within a small fundraising team.

Qualifications

• Experience in higher education fundraising preferred.
• Ability to meet monthly targets for engagement and solicitations.
• Excellent oral and written communication.
• Familiarity with donor stewardship and travel for meetings.

Responsibilities

• Manage a donor portfolio and secure annual fundraising results.
• Meet monthly engagement targets and solicitations.
• Host donors on campus and at events.
• Coordinate joint meetings with CGU leadership.
• Maintain accurate donor records and next steps in Slate.
