Job summary

University of Missouri System seeks an Advancement Associate II for the Mizzou Alumni Association to plan and execute signature alumni events, track engagement data, and oversee merchandise programs. The role requires strong communication, event management skills, and willingness to work evenings and weekends on a campus-centered schedule.

The position is based in Reynolds Alumni Center on the Mizzou campus, with in-office work and occasional extended hours for major events.

Qualifications

• Experience in events, alumni and student relations.
• Excellent written and verbal communications skills.
• High level of proficiency with Microsoft Office software.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate event logistics and programming for signature Mizzou Alumni Association events; manage vendors, oversee catering and decor, track registrations.
• Analyze alumni engagement data using PowerBI and related tools to inform programming decisions.
• Operationalize initiatives that deliver meaningful Mizzou moments and exceed alumni expectations (hospitality focus).
• Manage MAA merchandise program: monitor inventory, coordinate orders with vendors, and assist colleagues with merchandise ideas.
