Job summary

Colorado State University Foundation in Fort Collins, CO, seeks an Alumni Center Guest Relations Specialist to ensure exceptional experiences for alumni, donors, and guests. The role oversees a broad set of front-office operations, supervises interns, and supports events in the Iris and Michael Smith Alumni Center.

The position is full-time, in-person, with standard hours 8 a.m. – 5 p.m., Monday through Friday, and occasional evenings for special events. Salary ranges $60,000–$65,000, non-exempt.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent; strong administrative experience.
• Minimum 2 years in front-office and customer service roles.
• Experience supervising interns or staff and coordinating tasks.
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
• Reliable transportation and ability to work in-person.

Responsibilities

• Directly manage guest experiences at the Alumni Center and respond to inquiries.
• Open/close the center and staff front desk during standard hours with occasional events.
• Supervise and schedule 4–6 student interns and coordinate assignments.
• Support Engagement Leadership Team and staff events hosted in the center.
• Oversee gift acknowledgement and CRM-related donor communications.
• Assist with planning retreats, trainings, and special projects.
• Collaborate with Event Manager to deliver positive event-day experiences.
• Promote membership growth and revenue partnerships as part of the program.
