Job summary

Calvin University is seeking an Associate Director of Alumni Engagement to lead planning and execution of major alumni events on campus and beyond. A bachelor’s degree and 1–3 years of related experience are required; flexibility for weekend/evening work is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; 1–3 years of related experience.
• Strong organizational and communication skills are essential.
• Experience in event planning and campus logistics preferred.
• High school level computer literacy required.
• Flexible schedule to accommodate occasional weekend or evening work.

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute assigned alumni events, including Homecoming, reunions, and regional gatherings.
• Manage event registrations, publicity, attendee lists, and logistics.
• Coordinate budgets, vendor relationships, and on-site execution.
• Provide hospitality and guest services to university constituents and partners.
• Oversee event communications and post-event reviews for continuous improvement.
• Maintain long-range calendars and staff/volunteer schedules.
