Job summary

Camp Barney Medintz Alumni Engagement Coordinator at Marcus Jewish Community Center of Atlanta is a new role designed to build and grow CBM’s lifelong alumni program. You will create an engagement strategy, reconnect alumni, maintain a robust data base, and partner with CBM leadership and MJCCA Marketing to tell stories and expand opportunities.

The position requires travel for events and a strong ability to develop volunteers and leadership while collaborating with philanthropy to foster

Qualifications

• Camp Barney Medintz alum with strong personal CBM network.
• Strong ability to build relationships across generations and regions.
• Experience in event planning, logistics, registration and follow-up.
• Proficient with web-based software, databases/CRM, and digital communications.
• Excellent organizational skills and multi-project management.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage a year-round alumni engagement strategy under leadership guidance.
• Identify and reconnect former campers and staff through records, networks, and social channels.
• Build and maintain the CBM alumni database with contacts, history, and activity.
• Coordinate consistent alumni communications across email, social media, storytelling, and updates.
• Build relationships with alumni across generations to understand interests and connections.
• Plan and coordinate alumni gatherings and regional events, including travel and logistics.
• Identify and support alumni volunteers and leaders to expand CBM's reach.
• Collaborate with MJCCA Marketing on communications, storytelling, and branding.
• Track participation and engagement metrics to inform strategy.
