Job summary

The Cooper Union is seeking a Manager of Alumni Affairs and Individual Giving to drive multi-channel campaigns and annual giving with a focus on data-informed communications across direct mail, email, digital, and SMS. You will collaborate with internal teams and external consultants to execute integrated campaigns and engagement strategies.

Qualifications

• 3 years of experience in alumni affairs, fundraising, communications, nonprofit administration
• Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s preferred
• Experience supporting campaign execution across email, digital, and/or direct mail channels
• Familiarity with CRM systems (Slate, Raiser's Edge) and data coordination

Responsibilities

• Implement multi-channel fundraising campaigns across direct mail, email, digital, and social media; manage production timelines and tracking
• Provide project management support for Giving Tuesday and Giving Day campaigns and post-campaign analyses
• Draft, edit, and deploy alumni communications aligned with fundraising and engagement goals
• Support planning of reunion class campaigns and coordinate volunteer outreach
• Collaborate with Development Operations on data pulls, segmentation, and campaign tracking in systems like Slate and Tableau
• Support alumni and fundraising events, including All Cooper Weekend, with occasional evening/weekend work
• Other duties as assigned
