Job summary

Montclair State University is seeking an Associate Director of Alumni Engagement to strengthen the alumni network and foster lifelong connections that support University priorities.

You will oversee engagement program segments, coordinate events, communications, and donor stewardship, and collaborate with Annual Giving to grow annual gifts.

A Bachelor’s degree and 3+ years in higher education or related field are required; a Master’s degree and Raisers Edge experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; 3+ years in higher education or related field.
• Ability to develop strategic engagement goals and plan programs/events.
• Strong project management and organizational skills with ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Willingness to work evenings and weekends as needed.
• Experience with donor relations and fundraising concepts is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Plan and implement alumni engagement programs, events, and partnerships.
• Develop relationships with alumni and students to strengthen connections with the University.
• Manage a portfolio of annual giving prospects and donor stewardship.
• Set goals, monitor budgets, and analyze data to inform decisions.
• Lead volunteer committees and coordinate communications and outreach.
