Job summary

Salve Regina University seeks a relationship-driven professional to engage alumni and families in meaningful ways that inspire lifelong connection and philanthropic support, with a strong emphasis on annual giving.

Through personal visits, virtual meetings, events, and targeted outreach, this role builds authentic relationships by listening to alumni experiences, sharing timely university updates and funding priorities, and creating pathways for involvement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree is required.
• One year of fundraising or equivalent leadership/public speaking/sales experience.
• Must be willing to travel and work evenings and weekends.
• Excellent organizational, oral and written communication skills.
• Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office and the Internet.
• Two or more years of fundraising or admissions experience in a university setting.
• Salve Regina University graduate.
• Experience with Blackbaud Raiser's Edge.

Responsibilities

• Foster collaborative leadership within the Advancement team and campus partners.
• Manage a portfolio of alumni to build relationships and increase annual giving.
• Solicit and secure annual gifts to meet fundraising goals and metrics.
• Identify alumni involvement as volunteers and support Reunion programming.
• Collaborate with colleagues to refer alumni for major gifts and planned giving.
