Job summary

Feedinkoo is seeking a talented writer to create marketing and promotional copy for alumni events and programs. This hourly role involves approximately 25–28 hours per week and offers the flexibility of remote work within a few hours' drive of Richmond, VA.

The successful candidate will report to the Executive Director of DAR Communications, collaborating closely with VCU Enterprise Marketing. Applicants must hold a bachelor’s degree in a related field and have at least two years of writing/editing experience.

Qualifications

• Minimum two years’ professional writing/editing experience.
• Strong interviewing, writing, editing and proofreading abilities.
• Proven ability to develop and maintain strong working relationships.

Responsibilities

• Develop monthly outlines for VCU Alumni e-newsletter.
• Create all-alumni email about upcoming events and programs.
• Write engaging copy for emails promoting alumni and donor events.
