The Aebi Schmidt Group is seeking a Welder in Waterville, Maine to join our production team. You will welding various materials for truck bodies and specialty vehicles, reading blueprints, and fabricating components from raw stock.

Maintain quality, safety, and on-time production, while supporting process improvements and lean activities. Candidate must have a high school diploma or GED and be capable of passing AWS welding symbol tests.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED required.
• Must understand AWS welding symbols.
• Must be able to Mig or Tig weld steel, stainless, and aluminum as needed.
• Must be able to set up, adjust, and maintain welding machines.
• Must pass required welding certification tests in listed AWS sections.

Responsabilités

• Welds various materials per blueprints and specifications.
• Read and follow operator instructions and drawings.
• Fabricate components from raw stock and ensure dimensions match.
• Meet production goals and maintain a clean, safe work area.
• Inspect own work and support lean events and process improvements.
• Communicate with cross-functional teams to resolve issues.
