Job summary

Aebi Schmidt Group is seeking an assembler to join the production team in Waterville, ME. You will work across assembly stages using power tools, reading work orders, and following quality standards to build truck bodies and specialty vehicles.

The role requires dexterity, the ability to lift up to 50 lbs, and a safety-focused approach. Expect to rotate stations and maintain a clean workspace while supporting lean initiatives.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED is required.
• 1+ year manufacturing experience (automotive/RV/boat preferred).
• Valid driver’s license and strong attendance.
• Able to lift 50 lbs and use ladders.
• Comfortable with power tools and reading tape measure to 1/16”.
• Ability to read work orders and gauges.
• Team player with a safety-first mindset.
• Must pass pre-employment drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Assemble/install truck body parts across assembly, sub-assembly, and components.
• Use air, electric, and hand tools to complete tasks.
• Follow work instructions and quality standards.
• Rotate between workstations and maintain a clean, safe workspace.
• Support 5S and lean initiatives and assist team when not assembling.
