Cimarron Trailers in Manhattan, KS is seeking a Build Line Welder to fabricate and assemble aluminum trailer components on the build line. This hourly, full-time role requires precision welding using MIG/TIG and adherence to lean manufacturing practices.

You will read blueprints, measure with a tape, operate plasma torch and band saws, and collaborate with welders and supervisors. Regular attendance and safety are essential.

Formación

• Experience working in a manufacturing environment.
• Aluminum MIG and/or TIG welding experience.
• Ability to read a tape measure with precision, including measurements to 1/16 of an inch.
• Proficient in welding aluminum parts using MIG and/or TIG welding equipment.
• Skilled in using a plasma torch and other necessary tools for the job.
• Strong ability to collaborate and work effectively with your team and across other teams.
• Highly organized, self-motivated, and capable of working independently.
• Able to manage multiple tasks and priorities while adapting quickly to changing situations.

Responsabilidades

• Fabricate and assemble trailer components from blueprints, sketches, drawings, sample parts, and written/verbal work instructions, using electric, pneumatic, and hand-powered tools, as well as MIG and/or TIG welding equipment.
• Measure, mark, cut, and machine parts using equipment such as tube benders, bandsaws, plasma torches, and other machinery.
• Verify products meet the appropriate specifications and standards as outlined in work orders and drawings.
• Ensure high-quality products are completed in a timely manner.
• Collaborate with fellow sheeters, welders, and/or supervisors to resolve product or process issues.
• Adhere to and maintain lean manufacturing principles to ensure productivity and a clean, safe work environment.
• Be flexible and available to assist in other departments as needed by the Company.
• Maintain regular attendance, which is essential to maintaining product flow and meeting job expectations.
• Follow all policies and procedures as outlined by Cimarron Trailers.
