Job summary

Kewaunee Fabrications, an Oshkosh Corporation company, is seeking motivated and experienced welders for our 3rd shift. You will weld steel and aluminum per blueprints using MIG, TIG, FCAW, or SMAW, and participate in a quality-driven, safety-conscious manufacturing process.

Starting pay is $26.75/hour with additional premiums for aluminum/robotic welding and 2nd/3rd shifts. We offer comprehensive benefits after 30 days, a pension plan, 401(k) with company match, and growth opportunities within a

Qualifications

• Previous metal fabrication and welding experience.
• Basic blueprint reading and mechanical skills.
• Experience with at least one welding process and ability to obtain AWS D1.1 certification.
• Able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds regularly (lifting devices available).
• Willingness to perform cleaning, grinding, and weld prep work.

Responsibilities

• Weld steel and/or aluminum parts per blueprints using MIG, TIG, FCAW, or SMAW processes.
• Use fixtures to position components and control distortion.
• Perform grinding, cleaning, and deburring as needed.
• Complete required job paperwork and labor documentation.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area.
• Perform self-inspections and adhere to quality standards.
• Support preventative maintenance and assist coworkers as needed.
