Job summary

R&F Metals, Inc. is seeking a dependable Aluminum Railing Grinder to join our fabrication team.

This position is responsible for grinding, scraping, sanding, and finishing aluminum railings and related components to prepare them for final inspection, finishing, and installation. The ideal candidate is safety-conscious, reliable, attentive to detail, and comfortable working with hand and power tools in a fabrication shop.

Qualifications

• Operates grinders, sanders and other power tools safely.
• Identifies and corrects surface imperfections.
• Maintains high attention to detail and quality.
• Follows verbal and written instructions accurately.
• Exhibits reliable attendance and punctuality.

Responsibilities

• Grind and smooth welds on aluminum railings and components.
• Scrape, sand, deburr, and remove surface imperfections.
• Prepare aluminum products for powder coating, painting, or finishes.
• Inspect finished work for defects and ensure cleanup of welds.
• Use hand and power tools with safety and efficiency.
• Maintain a clean, organized work area and follow supervision directions.
• Perform routine inspections of tools and equipment.
