Job summary

Hexcel Corporation in Casa Grande, AZ, is hiring an Aluminum Flexcore Operator to run and monitor web corrugated processes on the line, maintain oven temperature, line speed, and adhesive systems. Starting pay is $28.69 per hour during orientation (90 days), increasing to $31.27 per hour, with a $1.75 per hour shift premium.

This 2x2x5x5 shift runs Tuesday, Wednesday, Saturday, and Sunday (Week 1) 7:00 PM–7:00 AM; and Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday (Week 2) 7:00 PM–7:00 AM.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED or equivalent.
• One year manufacturing experience preferred; six months at Hexcel Casa Grande may substitute.
• Proficient in use of tape measure and ruler.
• Basic working knowledge of computer data entry.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and write routine reports.

Responsibilities

• Performs a wide variety of tasks with web corrugated products to test, adjust, regulate and control processes on the line.
• Maintains oven temperature, line speed, solvent drip, and adhesive vat temperature and viscosity.
• Loads material, adjusts and cleans adhesive systems; follows M.O. material and target results.
• Adjusts machine temperature, speed and air pressures; checks quality and adherence to specifications.
• Inspects products and ensures they meet or exceed specifications.
• Operates other equipment when required and presents products to internal customers.
