Job summary

Daniel Defense’s Aluminum Department within Manufacturing seeks a Team Leader to guide a 5–9 member production team toward daily goals and KPIs. You will drive safety, 6S, quality, and efficiency through coaching, training, and effective communication.

The role requires an associate degree in manufacturing or related field with 3+ years of manufacturing experience and 1–2 years in a leadership role. Strong teamwork and problem solving are essential.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in manufacturing or related field plus 3 years of manufacturing experience.
• 1–2 years of leadership experience preferred in manufacturing.
• Strong teamwork, integrity, and professional conduct required.
• Excellent communication, time management, and ability to work with all levels of leadership.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).

Responsibilities

• Lead a manufacturing team to meet daily production goals and KPIs.
• Provide training, development, and safety leadership to team members.
• Set and monitor daily production goals and report metrics.
• Ensure shift start/end times, conduct daily safety meetings, and enforce SOPs.
• Troubleshoot production issues and collaborate with other departments.
• Apply Lean tools to drive continuous improvement and efficiency.
