Job summary

CMI Limited Co. seeks an entry-level welder helper to support production with daily tasks under a Welding Lead. You will lay out, cut, and assemble parts, perform quality checks, and use hand tools and forklifts as needed.

Responsibilities include welding support for aluminum, maintaining safe work areas, and collaborating with teammates across departments. Second/third shift options may be required as needed.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED is required.
• Ability to pass drug and criminal background checks.
• Welding aluminum experience is preferred.
• Willingness to work second or third shifts.

Responsibilities

• Performs daily tasks as assigned by Production Leader.
• Lay out, position, align, and secure parts prior to assembly.
• Cut material to size for higher level welders.
• Perform quality checks on own work.
• Operate hand and power tools as needed.
• Assist with non-structural welding tasks.
• Maintain cleanliness and safety in the work area.
• Interact professionally with team members and other departments.
• Work with urgency to improve operational efficiency.
• May be required to work second or third shifts.
• Demonstrate ability to weld fabricated aluminum products.
