Job summary

Prospero Teaching is seeking an experienced Assistant Head for an Alternative Provision in the Worcester area. This role requires a committed education professional capable of supporting the Headteacher, leading staff and promoting a safe, positive and inclusive environment for pupils who may have faced barriers to mainstream education.

The post is full-time, Monday to Friday, 8:00am-4:30pm, based in a rural site near Henley-In-Arden and requires a car for travel between locations.

Responsibilities

• Support the Headteacher in day-to-day leadership and management.

• Develop and implement educational and pastoral strategies.
• Build positive relationships with pupils, families and external professionals.
• Contribute to safeguarding and wider wellbeing of pupils.
• Drive continuous improvement across the provision.

We are seeking an enthusiastic, committed and experienced Assistant Head to join an alternative provision setting in the Worcester area.

This is an exciting opportunity for a dedicated education professional who is passionate about supporting young people who may have faced barriers to accessing mainstream education. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting the Headteacher, leading staff and helping to create a safe, positive and inclusive environment where every young person has the opportunity to succeed.

The role

Monday to Friday, 8:00am4:30pm

This is a 5-day-per-week, full-time position based in the Worcester area.
