Job summary

MTW Employment Services is looking for an Alternative Care Worker in West Virginia, responsible for the protection and care of children through Alternative Care and Adoption duties. The role demands a Bachelor of Social Work or similar experience with Anishinabek families and flexibility with hours.

Qualified candidates should possess a Class G Driver’s License and adhere to relevant child welfare protocols. Dilico encourages applications from all qualified candidates and gives preference to Indigenous people.

Qualifications

• A three-year BSW is preferred.
• Minimum two years of experience with Anishinabek families.
• Must possess Class 'G' Driver’s License with liability insurance.

Responsibilities

• Provide protection and care of children.
• Perform duties of Alternative Care and Adoption.
• Ensure compliance with Child and Family Services Act.
