Job description

Cape Fox subsidiary, Cape Fox Federal Integrators (CFFI) is seeking a highly organized and motivated Alternative Program Manager/Quality Control Manager to join our team in support of a federal government client. This individual will be responsible for the full spectrum of program management, including contract execution, personnel management, quality assurance, and financial oversight to ensure mission success. The salary range (or hiring range) for this exempt position is: $120,000 - $135,000

The above salary range represents the company's good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting. Core Duties
  • Plan, initiate, and manage information technology (IT) projects
  • Lead and guide the work of technical staff
  • Serve as liaison between business and technical aspects of projects
  • Plan project stages and assess business implications for each stage
  • Monitor progress to ensure deadlines, standards, and cost targets are met
  • Develop and execute software test plans to identify software problems and their causes
  • Develop, implement, and maintain the Quality Control Plan (QCP) to ensure contract performance meets or exceeds all Government-defined standards and metrics
  • Supportthe Program Manager in all aspects of contract execution, including planning, scheduling, performance monitoring, and reporting for the contract
  • Assumefull Program Manager duties and authority during the PM's absence, ensuring seamless continuity of operations and uninterrupted service delivery to the Government customer
  • Manageday-to-day operations of the IT support services team, including task prioritization, workflow coordination, and quality assurance across all functional areas
  • Overseeresource management activities, including personnel scheduling, workload balancing, and coordination of technical staff assignments to meet contract deliverable timelines
  • Serveas a primary point of contact for Government technical representatives and Contracting Officer's Representatives (COR) in the PM's absence
  • Assistin the preparation and submission of contract deliverables, status reports, and performance metrics in accordance with contract requirements
  • Supportstaffing actions, including onboarding of new personnel, coordination of security clearance processing, and management of labor category transitions
  • Monitorcontract financial performance, tracks expenditures against budget allocations, and provide early identification of potential cost or schedule variances to the Program Manager
  • Assistin the identification and mitigation of program risks, maintaining the program risk register, and ensures the timely implementation of corrective actions
  • Facilitate communication between technical staff, management, and the Government customer to ensure alignment of priorities and expectations
  • Supportcontinuous process improvement initiatives and contributes to the development of standard operating procedures for IT service delivery
  • Develop, implement, and maintainthe contract Quality Control Plan (QCP) in accordance with contract requirements and industry best practices
  • Monitorcontractor performance against all PWS requirements, service level agreements (SLAs), and key performance indicators (KPIs) to ensure compliance and quality of deliverables
  • Conductscheduled and unscheduled quality audits, inspections, and surveillance activities across all functional areas of the ITSS contract
  • Documentfindings from quality audits and develop corrective action plans (CAPs) to address deficiencies, non-conformances, and areas for improvement
  • Trackcorrective actions through resolution and validates the effectiveness of implemented solutions
  • Prepareand submitquality reports, metrics, and trend analyses to program management and Government stakeholders
  • Coordinatewith the Government's Quality Assurance Evaluator (QAE) and COR to address quality concerns and facilitate contract oversight activities
  • Establishand maintainquality control documentation, including inspection checklists, process procedures, and work instructions
  • Conductroot cause analyses for recurring issues and implements preventive measures to preclude recurrence
  • Facilitateprocess improvement initiatives and recommendenhancements to operational workflows and procedures
  • Providequality-related training and mentorship to contract personnel to foster a culture of continuous improvement
  • Reviewand validatedeliverables before Government submission to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with contract standards
  • Maintainconfiguration management of quality documentation and ensureversion control is properly administered
