Bloomingdale's in Palo Alto is seeking an Alteration Support Professional to help deliver a seamless in-store experience. You will sew garments and perform alterations including sleeves, backs, sides, collars, and bodices, while maintaining speed and accuracy.

The role requires a High School diploma or equivalent and 1-2 years of direct alteration experience, with strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work flexible retail hours.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• 1-2 years direct alteration experience.
• Strong interpersonal skills; communicate clearly with customers and peers.
• Resourceful and able to adapt quickly to changing priorities in a retail environment.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule with retail hours, including day, evening, weekends, and/or holidays.

Responsibilities

• Sew garments and perform basic to advanced alterations (sleeves, backs, sides, collars, bodices) and minor repairs.
• Provide detailed information about alterations services and respond to customer inquiries.
• Deliver quality work first time and on time to meet customer specifications and profitability.
