Bloomingdale's in New York is seeking an Alteration Support Professional to support daily alterations operations. You will sew garments and perform basic to advanced alterations on sleeves, backs, sides, collars and bodices, and do minor repairs or button replacements to meet customer specifications.

The role requires attention to detail, a collaborative spirit and teamwork to deliver a smooth shopping experience. Flexibility for day/evening/weekend/holiday hours is essential.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• 1-2 years direct experience.
• Strong interpersonal skills with proven ability to communicate and share information with diverse groups of customers and peers.
• Resourceful self-starter, works well independently as well as part of a team.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule with retail hours, including day, evening, weekends, and/or holidays.
