About the Role

The Alterations CSR plays a vital role in the success of our Alterations department by providing exceptional customer service. Reporting to the Store Manager, responsibilities include welcoming customers, scheduling appointments, answering phones, pressing garments, and ensuring items are ready for pickup.

Key Responsibilities
  • Greet customers warmly via phone, virtual chat, and in person, demonstrating clear communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Manage customer flow using all systems to deliver a five-star experience.
  • Meet service standards including greeting, needs assessment, and emotional support.
  • Handle multiple customers simultaneously, proactively resolving concerns and escalating issues when necessary.
  • Promote alterations services and personalization options.
  • Maintain store cleanliness and organization to ensure a seamless shopping experience.
  • Assist with inventory management, processing orders, and ensuring merchandise standards.
  • Support cash transactions accurately and ensure every customer feels valued.
  • Perform duties assigned by store management.
Physical and Educational Requirements
  • Ability to stand, walk, sit, and perform manual tasks including sewing and pressing garments.
  • High school diploma or equivalent; 1-2 years retail experience preferred; sewing experience is a plus.
