Job summary

Neiman Marcus in Dallas seeks an Alterations Manager to lead the Alterations Associates, ensuring outstanding service and meet the demands of clients and selling organization. Under the direction of the Assistant General Manager of Operations, you will organize processes and drive efficient outcomes.

We require a 4-year degree and 3+ years of management experience in a luxury setting; tailoring experience preferred.

Qualifications

• 4 year degree preferred.
• 3+ years of management experience with comparable volume or a proven track record of success managing operations workforce and achieving results.
• Fitting/tailoring experience in high-end or luxury merchandise setting is preferred, not required.
• Ability to fit and perform alterations on a wide range of garments is preferred, not required.
• Knowledge of Alterations industry including fabrication and styling of luxury merchandise.
• Proficiency in utilizing available technology, Word, Excel etc. is required. Must be flexible in scheduling as the business needs evening weekend and holiday schedules.

Job Description

YOU WILL BE: Under direction from the Assistant General Manager of Operations, the Alterations Manager is responsible for providing leadership and support to all of the Alterations Associates in order to provide outstanding service and meet the demands of the clients and selling organization.

• Ad hoc responsibilities as needed WHAT YOU WILL BRING:

Salary Range $77,500 - $106,000*

Compensation for this role varies by geographic location. The listed range reflects multiple markets, including higher-cost areas. Actual starting pay will be determined based on work location, experience, and other job-related factors.
