Saks Fifth Avenue is seeking an Alterations Associate to join the tailoring team, delivering expert alterations and exceptional customer service. You will model customer service principles, support fittings, and help maintain a safe, productive work environment.

Ideal candidates bring 3+ years in high-end tailoring, proficiency with leather and specialty stitches, and a collaborative spirit to support store initiatives and a premium shopping experience.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years’ fitting and tailoring experience in high-end merchandise.
• Ability to fit and perform alterations on a wide range of garments.
• Knowledge of leather, knits, beading, and fine tailoring is a plus.
• Proficient with standard sewing, pressing, and spotting equipment.
• Experience with specialty machines: double-blind, buttonhole, cover-stitch, leather.
