Job summary

RBC Wealth Management seeks a Product Analyst for Alternative Investments in Minneapolis to help support and grow the alternative investments platform. You will assist with client service, risk management, and regulatory compliance while coordinating with cross-functional teams.

Ideal candidates have an undergraduate degree and some financial markets knowledge, plus proficiency with Excel. The role offers a comprehensive rewards package and growth opportunities within a dynamic wealth management

Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree (BA/BS) with preferred concentration in business, economics, finance, or marketing.
• Basic knowledge of financial markets and investment industry.
• Basic knowledge of alternative investment products.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and Excel Spreadsheet – Ability to adapt to changing technology.

Responsibilities

• Support financial advisors and client associates with questions related to the alternative investments platform by answering questions, assisting with order flow and solutioning “not in good order” documents.
• Monitor alternative investment product inbox and action on emails, completely, accurately and timely.
• Assist with routine and ad-hoc administrative activities, including security setup, information collection, fund legal documents monitoring, and billing.
• Assist in management of internal web sites related to supported alternative platform(s), including Infonet, AltsLink and Salesforce.
• Support the Alternatives Product Manager on projects required to ensure compliance with regulators, competitiveness, and advisor satisfaction.
• Assist in development and execution of key strategic initiatives, particularly with regards to alternatives
• Identify appropriate solutions to product and business challenges, and manage the implementation of enhancements to existing programs
