Job summary

Resicum International LLC is seeking an Aircrew Survival Flight Equipment Technician I to support organizational-level ALSS operations for F/A-18 aircraft at NAS JRB Fort Worth, TX. The role focuses on inspection, maintenance, repair, testing, and certification of ALSE and related life support equipment.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years in aviation maintenance or ALSS, with F/A-18 experience preferred, and will work under contract requirements to ensure aircrew safety and mission readiness.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum of three (3) years of aviation maintenance or ALSE/ALSS experience, with experience supporting F/A-18 aircraft preferred.
• Demonstrated experience inspecting, maintaining, troubleshooting, repairing, testing, and certifying aircrew survival equipment and aviation life support systems.
• Working knowledge of aircraft survival equipment, ALSS, emergency egress equipment, and aircraft oxygen systems.
• Familiarity with pyrotechnic devices, explosive safety procedures, oxygen servicing requirements, and management of life-limited components.

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled and unscheduled inspections, maintenance, servicing, repair, testing, and certification of ALSE supporting F/A-18 aircraft across multiple variants.
• Inspect, troubleshoot, repair, and certify aviation life support equipment in accordance with technical publications.
• Inspect flight helmets, oxygen masks, torso harnesses, parachutes, survival vests, life preservers, life rafts, survival kits, ELTs, survival radios, and related equipment.
• Coordinate operational testing of emergency communication devices, ELTs, survival radios, and signaling devices.
• Maintain records, serialized equipment history, and inventory accountability for life support systems.
• Adhere to NAVAIR procedures, explosive safety, oxygen servicing, TCP, hazardous materials handling, and OSHA safety requirements.
